... turns away and cries.

Oh... and thanks Arioch, you heartbreaker!
There, there... There's still the remote possibility that Alex is still strapped to that table in medbay and everything is an illusion, created by Tempo to see if he can be trusted, meaning Spiral is alive and well.

Re: Merry Christmas

No, I'm not drunk. Why were you thinking that? I was'nt... but now that you mention it... and the pic.... and the fact that folks do that on holiday... stranger things have happened lol. It's terrible on the island (La Gomera, part of the Canaries) today. So many drunk men. And every single one wit...

Re: Merry Christmas

(I'll replace this with the final image when it's finished.) Huh? Finished? How is it possible that a drawing of characters who aren't wearing any clothes takes longer than a drawing in which they do? I mean: clothes are additional things that must be drawn. Clothes are more work. More work means i...

Re: Wind and Fire

Would y'all get your minds out of the gutter? I didn't say anything about lesbians and whatnot, you have watched way too much porn. Have and still am. 8-) Who says that Alex likes cute girls, maybe he's more into buff ones. After all, he is somewhat interested in Fireblade, and she might have simil...

Re: Wind and Fire

It'll never work. Loroi females have human male attitudes & personalities. Physically they're attractive females, but mentally they're Gunnery Sergeant Hartman. Take Beryl: she expects Alex to behave like a cute Loroi male. Alex expects Beryl to behave like a cute human girl. As soon as they find o...

Alex does not shave. Arioch said somewhere here that with Humanity's tech level, they can literally do med treatments that prevent facial hair from growing.
Oh the humanity!

Re: Wind and Fire

THAT is why I like Outsider as much as I do... it is niche, Arioch is not playing SJW like Star Trek Discovery or Picard or any other political agenda that I am aware of. He is just writing a fun and immersive story. I'm still wondering how a man on a ship that's filled with women manages to shave....

Ben is making good steps towards his very own elf harem. He might not appreciate it just yet, but probably soon enough. It'll never work. Loroi females have human male attitudes & personalities. Physically they're attractive females, but mentally they're Gunnery Sergeant Hartman. Take Beryl: she ex...

I just assumed... I mean several writers here are from Europe. You, Janessen, I just assumed Snoofman could be as well.
I think Snoofman is Dutch like me. Maybe Flemish.

Re: Expedition

Just curious... does b :o ;) eing the being the 'captain' (because I don't know if you go solo or have any 'crew') of your own ship literally inform your writing at all? I am only curious since at times it seems you are very familiar with the measurements involved when it comes to travel and that i...

Re: Page 218: The Volunteer

Lucky you. Here in Russia the cheapest detergents barely wash anything at all. And best ones was imported from neighbor Finland personally by me. Literally, the same trademark soap bought in Russia was noticeably weaker than that bought in Finland, though theoretically they should be equal. What yo...

Re: Page 218: The Volunteer

And people fall for it. The most expensive washing detergent in my local supermarket is Euro 7.25. The cheapest is Euro 1.35. The cheap one hardly gets sold because "it's so cheap, it must be crap". But as I found out it washes just as well as the expensive ones. Lucky you. Here in Russia the cheap...

Re: Page 218: The Volunteer

The internet and televised detergent commercials are why there's a Fermi paradox. heh... why detergent, specifically? It's a cultural joke, I guess. In the Netherlands, washing detergent commercials have become sort of a standard to compare things with. Something is either worse than a washing dete...

{snip} And thus my title went from "End-of-Line Measurement Control Services Engineer" to "End-of-Line Measurement Control Services and Static Discharge Prevention Engineer". Awesome. But a raise would've been better. It resulted in our fab becoming the only one on the site to pass all requirements...

The "twig" is just rough sketching but lol yeah I guess it does look like that :D Likewise, the sketchiness is hiding her jawline a little and making her face seem longer than it is. I probably do need to move her left cheekbone down a tad though. A lot of artists use these for p...

Re: What Is Your Favorite Comicbook Character and Why?

I worked for Dart Container.  The expansion agent they use in Styrofoam is Pentane, which is only one carbon and one hydrogen atom from Benzene -- a known carcinogen. Keklas, you'll probably going to hate my guts after reading this reply. So let me begin by saying that your idiotic former emp...
