I'm not a patreon, so my opnion maybe or maybe not be a spoiler: The historian already has infiltratred Tempest and the shuttle systens. It learned how to interact with the PDA during Beryl first atempt to use it onboard the Tempest and it has been listening to Alex teaching english to Beryl onboard...
