Re: [Fan Fiction] Looking forward to the Mirror
a Total War environment where every last bit of resource/man hour counts, even if it's just something as simple as paint. I find that hilarious when the amount of bright colors on a Loroi escort likely rivals the amount in the entire TCA Colonial Fleet. :P And I find the idea of fake windows on a w...

Re: [Fan Fiction] Looking forward to the Mirror
There's also crew areas marked there. And sensors tend not to glow, and the placement on other ships is nonsensical for sensors.

Re: [Fan Fiction] Looking forward to the Mirror
Hm, had assumed the blue rectangles on inner bow were docking bays or something, but with Tempest 's hangar placement, the generally similar external layout of Loroi ships and the mentioned color uniformity, they may indeed be something else. When I talked about viewports I meant the small yellow re...

Re: [Fan Fiction] Looking forward to the Mirror
Eh, I'm seeing windows on some of the Loroi ships. And Warhammer seems to have some small windows, though in places easily damaged in a crash. Couldn't find images of the dorsal side. And Bellarmine 's bridge was penetrated trough the hull plating above the viewports. Slapping some plating over thos...

Re: [Fan Fiction] Looking forward to the Mirror
Interesting stuff. Though I have to say "Fransua" sound silly. I'd recommend sticking with "Francois". And asteroids with EM emissions? If they're mostly iron, I can see EM interference happening but "EM emission" sounds like it's giving off major radiation. :P Also spotted "think" instead of "thick...

Re: Miscellaneous Loroi question-and-answer thread
Jamming and being undetectable are different things. With jamming (in this example someone is "yelling"?) you know there's something there.
A bit like stealth and EWAR planes.
That's how I see it.

Doesn't look like an umiak ship IMO... Might be historians... Remember how Tempo looked at the AI after Alex mentioned the beam color and it basically said "let's not jump into conclusions"...

Re: WIP Discussion (Part 1!)
They're there, just not labeled... they won't be seen, and therefore won't be modeled. There's a "water closet" in the cockpit aft of the port pilot's seat, and any other facilities for the passengers would be in the "stores" spaces. The deck plan is a modeling guide, and not really intended for pu...

Re: WIP Discussion (Part 1!)
Hm, I assume Highland comes with multiple interior configurations? Because that doesn't look like a VIP transport. Yes, it's configurable, and for this mission the interior is very sparse. Were you expecting a skybar and bunny stewardesses? Actually, few bunks and a lavatory. :P BTW, helmets and ha...
