While I can understand the "we want more" sentiment, the fact is, we're getting this for free. Unless somebody would like to step forward and identify themselves as Arioch's hidden benefactor? If not, then that's a lot of time, effort, and thought that we're giving little in turn for.

The man has a living to make and life outside of Outsider like any of us. I'm sure he'll post when he can.

On that note, thanks for what's been done, Arioch, and I'll be looking forward to what is to come.

18 months and still nothing, no progress report? No idea what's going on?

18 months between pages isn't the way to keep reader interest. Yes, we're getting this for free, that's an old argument that loses much of its weight when there's so much time between updates.

The setting is magnificent, no question. But we can't enjoy it with this sort of half-dead state. And I'm saying half because I'm an optimist.

Outside isn't half-dead, there is still allot of world-building going on in the forums where Arioch is pretty active. Threads like the " Miscellaneous Loroi question-and-answer thread " and ones like it help lend some weight to this view. As long as Arioch is active in the forums or world-building in forum-posts or updates Insider then the comic is not dead.

Its a long term project where Arioch has stated multiple times that he's committed to finishing out in some form or another. Long waits between updates are just normal around here.

Just relax, enjoy the forums and Insider updates, or set your RSS feeder to update when a new comic is posted.
