I wonder what interesting tricks or inventions can spring from this, especially as better methods of manufacturing envisioned in the future becomes available.

Relevant to my interests, because I play Eclipse Phase. :twisted:

I wonder how well those materials stand up to heat. One thing's for sure, they'd make for some awesome sunglasses. :P

Eclipse Phase is pretty awesome, though I think this would be more useful in Shadowrun for dealing with mages.

Though, speaking of Shadowrun, damaging manipulations like Hell Blast that are area effect do not require line of sight to ground into mundane space . Unlike a Mana Ball or Power Blast spells.

Yeah, you can always target the barrier if you like, but you can't just mind manipulate someone driving by on the street if you can't see them through the windows.
