When reading Outsider, what voices do you apply to the various characters?

Here's mine: (in order of vocal appearance)

Alex Jardin — Vaan Ratsbane (Final Fantasy XII)
Ellen Kirkland — Amy Pond (Doctor Who)
Airlock woman — Unknown
White airlock man — Shigeru Aoba (Neon Genesis Evangelion)
Capt. Hamilton — Cave Johnson (Portal 2)
Black airlock man — Unknown
Female bridge bunny — Maya Ibuki (Neon Genesis Evangelion)
Male bridge bunny — Makoto Hyuga (Neon Genesis Evangelion)
Beryl — Starfire (Teen Titans)
Historian emissary — Migelo (Final Fantasy XII)
Tempo — GLaDOS (Portal (endgame only), Portal 2)
Rigai Mozin — Capt. Gantu (Lilo & Stitch)
Stillstorm — Ellen Ripley (Alien)
Nova — Martha Jones (Doctor Who)
Sirocco — Ritsuko Akagi (Neon Genesis Evangelion)
Moonglow — River Song (Doctor Who)
Ashrain — Cortana (Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3)
Arclight — Misato Katsuragi (Neon Genesis Evangelion)
Loroi bridge bunny — Ashelia B'Nargin Dalmasca (Final Fantasy XII)
Kktk-27-Txk-Tqkt — The Terminator (The Terminator, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines)
Reed — Rose Tyler (Doctor Who)

Alex Jardin — Christopher Daniel Barnes (Prince Eric from Little Mermaid)
Ellen Kirkland — Anne Hathaway
Capt. Hamilton — Paul Dobson (Graveheart from Shadow Raiders)
Beryl — Jodi Benson (Ariel from Little Mermaid)
Tempo — Kate Blanchett
Stillstorm — Meryl Streep
Rigai Mozin — Keith David (Goliath from Gargoyles)
Historian emissary - Lani Tupu (Pilot from Far Scape)
Nova (Winter Tide) — Jennifer Hale (FemShep from Mass Effect series)
(Sirocco) — Claudia Black
Moonglow (Tsunami) — Mary Elizabeth McGlynn (Major Motoko Kusanagi from GiS:Stand Alone Complex)
Ashrain (Black Razor) — Laura Bailey (Lust from Full Metal Alchemist)
Arclight (Torrent) — Michelle Forbes (Admiral Helena Cain from Battlestar Galactica)
Forest (Tempest's Officer of the Deck) — Lexa Doig (Rommie from Andromeda)
Kktk-27-Txk-Tqkt — GLaDOS, because a female dominated society would have a female voice translator
Reed — Grace Park (Athena from Battlestar Galactica)

The squadron's division captains can be shuffled to taste. I was looking for older, stronger female voices and these five fit the bill.

Hahahah... poor Keith David always gets typecast as the alien. But he's too smooth and sexy for Mozin, who is very gruff. :D Maybe John Rhys-Davies, talking a bit like Sallah from Raiders of the Lost Ark.

I think I would cast foreign actors (European, non-English) for all the alien parts, with subtle but noticeable accents. Sophie Marceau would make a good Beryl.

By the way, timbre of voice of Paku Romi can be good for Fireblade.

I agree. When Fireblade does eventually speak, it will be the voice of Murder Princess I hear.

I notice (´till now) the absence of a really manic character, so i have no suggestion.

A male maniac could be voiced by legendary Klaus Kinski (if he´d still be alive):

Well if it was ever made into a movie, Kktk-27-Txk-Tqkt translated voice would probably have a calm RP English accent, we are always the bad guys you know...

Nah. Artificial voice - a bit more like Stephen Hawking's voice generation program, I think. Hey - Stephen Hawking with an accent!

Yes, but in the classic Hollywood movies even the Germans have English accents.
