I do remember a scifi novel, which I read long time ago. I think it was russian one, but I'm not sure.

Human space vessel found a crashed alien ship and lone survivor. They hurried and get her in (she was clearly had size and shape of sexy woman). The crewmembers wanted to open her suit and warm her up because she was cold, but the biology wanted to make some test first. Then they found out, that her biochemistry was so different that room temperature would vaporize her. The rest of story was problems to keep her alive in human ship and how she and one of the crewmembers got hopeless crush on each other.

We players know more than our characters, and it easily affect our wild theories.

They can't close it out, if the two woman probing the probe could be a humans abducted from earth.
Which could be more believable, that second race we contact is identical with us or orgus lying to us?

Thats a big problem in all RPGs I have ever played or GMed.

I´m not sure that they still believe in UFOs around 2160. That could be a possibility, yes.
Something you should really find out. ;)

We know that aliens exist, they have more sophisticated technology than us and they were cabable of space travel before we started to listen the sky with radar and other instruments.
And UFO is mysterious thing, which you haven't identified as alien spacecraft.

Plus, just because we're now in space and have met aliens doesn't mean we don't know about the possibility of technology we can't comprehend how it works but is fantastical... hand-held energy weapons, personal shield emitters, gravity drives... we humans STILL even in 2060 have a healthy imagination of what 'could be'! We haven't suddenly forgotten all the theoretical SciFi that is such a part of our media, entertainment, and drams of super-science!

I'm waiting for a post by CJ Miller before I post anything else. Plus we actually need a reaction post from the human players...

I will only post something for the human side, after a post from the human players. Otherwise we would have a problem.

Yes, but do they sneak into our homes and snatch our women?
Wel... I think the human NPCs are a bit unsure what they saw on the screen and thats one of the reasons why Blake was a bit shocked at first.
Well... all human NPCs except Metzger, I think. That guy saw what he wanted to see: woman in space... ;)

Whats up with the human players? Not one post! If we have no human players.. I may have to switch characters just so there is SOME interaction from the human side of things...!

I'm waiting for VonWolffe with moving on. I don't want to be accused again of stealing somebody's fun.

Again nice work Loroi side!

Got ya Bel.. its cool. I knew a lot of people would want to play Loroi.. which is why my first character proposed was all human. I only consented to play Sonnidezi by popular opinion... after there were several human players. I just feel the game will miss something without human player feedback.

Beliskner normaly sends me some lines to integrate in my posts for the human side. It think I will post something for dragoons character in the way of "take 3 of your best men and meet the others at the shuttle bay" or so.
As on the human players: there are less human than loroi players. I hope VonWolffe is still with us.

Of course! How else they could get their slave pets?

LOL! But I do not think the Umiak will do that. They have blue space elfe slavegirls. Why would they take ours? ;-)

@all:
I hoped that this game would be more balanced. I'm not sure why so many want to play a Loroi. So I have to create some more NPCs for your entertainment. :)

What, you mean you can have enough slaves?

I will only answer this question, after I spoke to my lawyer about that subject...
Edit: Just to make things clear, that new IC thread I opened is just a placeholder. If the two groups finally make contact and the human shuttle is on its way, the prelude is over. Time for the real deal. :)
