Other: It's Ok. Why mermaids? But it's nice and mysterious.

It's certainly a tonal shift from the space opera to an aquatic fantasy, but I like it. It reinforces the ancient/modern duality of the Loroi.

hi hi

Thematically I like it just fine. The only thing that bugs me about it is the colors. In TV, the "to be continued..." is often accompanied by a dramatic musical cue, but in a comic you've got to settle for something visually dramatic I think, like dramatic lighting or something. There's not a whole lot of contrast in the image even just considering that the website's background is black.

This is kind of what I mean:

Very nice submission icekatze,

i like the original, its very stylized and gives an idea of the deeper beliefs of the loroi.

but I leave the ultimate decision to the artist himself, its his comic.

I like the image as a concept, but I do feel it lacks contrast and detail. If it was re-rendered in the style of the Tempest mural outside the bridge it would look much better.

I like it.

Apart from the Pavlovian "no more pages" response. :)

I always expect those mermaids with their mouths set in a "I'm shouting/yelling/screaming" position instead of the almost serene expressions on their face.

I think it works well as an image, but my first reaction on seeing it was to wonder how merloroi relate to the comic. Perhaps the sudden change in setting does make it work better as a 'You've reached the last page' indicator, though.
