Thinking about getting Dark Tide soon. More a Warhammer Fantasy guy, but 40k is the moe popular game for severl good reasons, adn a fun shooter is something they can always use. Also done by the same crew that did Vermintide so even if you are not a lore hound, you will still have fun with the action and dialogue.

Since moving to the Philippines for retirement (I am 65), the possibility of finding 2 to 5 people to run any kind of Old-School TTRPG in person is asymptotically zero.
I do pretty much all my TTRPG via Maptool these days.

I am a sometime contributor to the project, which can be found here: https://www.rptools.net/

Maptools seems optimized for D&D 5e.  Is there another for GURPS (any ed) or Traveller (any ed)?

They claim it is "game agnostic," though I haven't used it myself.

Maptool is completely game agnostic, it just somes loaded with some D&D type defaults for lights and token sizes and such.
But all that is entirely customisable.

Plenty of people use Maptool for GURPS. I've done a lot of Hero System stuff with it myself.

It's made by Bethesda; it will be broken beyond belief at launch and maybe they will deign to fix it eventually.

I've seen it described as an open-galaxy* RPG game like skyrim but with spaceships and lasers.

Hopefully they used the extra time making this game fixing all the bugs.

These two lines... together... should not be...

They'd have to debug their Q&A depar... they'd have to create a Q&A department.

This is the Star Control 2: The Ur-Quan Masters sequel that has been rebranded to "Free Stars" due to trademarks and the like.

Kickstarted passed its original goal in about 3 hours.

Can't be more difficult then providing air tickets and lodging? ;)

Am curious if anyone's fallen down the Balatro rabbit hole, or plays the tabletop wargame BattleTech (whether Classic or Alpha Strike).
