so those little taps on the side of the circle are release taps/loosing taps for loroi armour ( or are they some kinda of back pack attachment pointsArioch wrote:Most of it is a single unit, but at least a few parts detatch (notably the shoes). Re: Have the older comic pages been changed?
All of the major characters went through some significant design changes, but Beryl was the only one that changed after she first appeared in the comic. The prior design was essentially a recolor of the Doranzer uniform... it looked fine in the concept, but was not working out well in the actual comic. Even with my current drawing skills the Doranzer design is really hard to make look good (see below left); among other things, the combination of the hip panels and the hourglass belly panel is really unflattering. It was also appropriate that Listel and Doranzer should have different designs anyway.NOMAD wrote:and just another question were any other characters revises or was beryl just a "special" case
Re: Have the older comic pages been changed?
thxs Arioch,
I guess I forgot about the loroi concepts. oh well, thanks for the answer ( for being patient with me)
in a way I still like the first concept for Beryl with the other yellow "other covers"

impractical I know, but I like it.

Re: Have the older comic pages been changed?
The Loroi would certainly look a lot different with those tunic sort of garments.
On a side note. I'm pretty sure I've seen a picture of Beryl, Fireblade and Tempo floating around the net. Only it seemed to be a very early picture and each of the three looked closer to their MOO2 counterparts. But upon looking in the Insider I don't see it listed.

Who are the 1st and 5th Lori in that picture? (moving from left to right)
Re: Have the older comic pages been changed?
There are several older illustrations that aren't in the gallery because they're embarrassingly bad.Tamren wrote:I'm pretty sure I've seen a picture of Beryl, Fireblade and Tempo floating around the net. The first on the left is the Loroi medtech from page 22. Fifth from the left (with the orange hair) is Soroin Tiris Ronsarad ("Red-river"), one of the fire control officers, who can be seen on the third panel of page 76.Sanguinius wrote:Who are the 1st and 5th Lori in that picture? even the name of the image is showing her as "redrill

Rill (though it basically the same thing as a river) sound less like she PMSing. just my opinion. Anyway she quite cute! when will she have more screen time?
Re: Have the older comic pages been changed?
It is. It's just a different way of translating the name. I prefer "Redrill" but I noticed that some people were reading it as "Re-drill." Not that it matters... I doubt her name will ever be said aloud in the comic.Karst45 wrote: wasnt her name redrill?
The Tempest bridge crew members will get more screen time, but that's a ways off.Karst45 wrote: Anyway she quite cute! when will she have more screen time?
