 Re: WIP Discussion (Part 1!)
Odd..I seem to recall a huge mass driver where the Mjolnir is (Mjolnir being a replacement). Obviously, I'm wrong.

 Re: WIP Discussion (Part 1!)
trash I don't think your wrong, I think Arioch just changed the large assault mass driver for a large particle cannon. So there was always going to be a big gun, it just got a massive upgrade from kinetic to energy type.

 Re: WIP Discussion (Part 1!)
The previous design had a more obvious gun underneath, but I don't recall specifying that it was a mass driver.

 Re: WIP Discussion (Part 1!)
well I though its was a mass driver from the discussion of it on the old forum, the Mjolnir was designed as an assault weapon against asteroids, IIRC

It's all the stress man, ages you a century it does.
Also, that armor should be vacuum sealed.

 Re: WIP Discussion (Part 1!)
I got a major Queen Elizabeth vibe from the concept art. Actually, let's compare. The styles are wildly different and centuries apart, but both carry the sense of royalty rather well I think. Makes me wonder how a Queen Elizabeth and Emperor Greywind meetup would've gone had they been alive at the same time.

Queen of England eh? Where are the space corgis
...(I know, wrong queen.)
Nonetheless, if Greywind does appear it seems likely to be on a view screen.

 Re: WIP Discussion (Part 1!)
I might be a liiiiiiiiiiittle disappointed that Greywind is not the ultra-hottie I thought she was from her concept, but I suppose it would stretch the bounds of disbelief just a tiny bit. She's more venerable like this anyway.

 Re: WIP Discussion (Part 1!)
agreed
the defined check bones and longer face of an older loroi
for some reason I had in my mind the greywind was around 200's or so, and the concepts appear to closer to 325-350+.
Solemn where did you find these concepts, on the outsider inner pages ?

Alright. But the concepts all share a withered and weathered look to my eyes. Yep.

 Re: WIP Discussion (Part 1!)
HAHAHAHA. "Gary Storm" sounds like a puppet character from Thunderbirds. It's just a concept. Nothing's final. Yeah, it's standard Loroi combat armor. It can be. The visor closes.

 Re: WIP Discussion (Part 1!)
according to old conversations and concepts, the long hair either gets tucked away (in heavy armour) or in normal armour it goes through an iris thing to form a seal. Alternatively, they could use the secret of personal shielding to hold air close to their body and thus protect their hair with the same technology... But we're trying to live in a universe thats semi-realistic.
Actually if we put all hair into armour as the rule when in vacuum sealed form (which could be done VERY quickly with appropriate rollers and such), then there would be a marked preference of Lori with long hair to avoid vacuum situations, if only to keep their hair sorted. Or we could just cut it off with rapid moving razor blades on the 'seals' but i don't think we want fireblade mostly bald in the event of a hull breach

Outside? That´s just a wig, so they can find their assigned helmets faster in case of emergency.
