Ooh, ooh! Goliaths from D&D, though they tend much more towards gray. Maybe an honorable mention, I dunno.

Post Re: Insider, Updates
In the sci-fi webcomic The End, by Ran and Cory Brown, there are two distinct groups of humanlike aliens.

The most fleshed-out of the setting's aliens, the Fiah, are not actually naturally humanlike, but rather avian-looking fellows who have been artificially altered to resemble humans. However, this didn't quite go right, so their human facades are slate-gray with prominent glowing blue features (Fiah eyes?). Because of the predominantly blue and aquamarine lighting on their ship, they can at times appear somewhat bluish or aquamarine rather than gray. They have a form of telepathy, though it seems technological rather than biological. Since they aren't actually blue and their human-suits don't actually represent their people, the Fiah might not even warrant an honorable mention.

The second, the Ith, look entirely human. Not blue at all, and thus largely irrelevant to the matter at hand. However, they seem to have psychic powers, a militant and dictatorial government, and some as yet largely undescribed caste system. Humans are probably not immune to mind-powers in this comic, though a member of the Ith blue caste stated--in a page to which I have already linked--that he could not see human "auras." Perhaps all non-Ith lack auras, perhaps this is some feature exclusive to humanity and the Ith "black caste;" if this matter was explained anywhere I don't recall where to find said explanation, and it seems more likely to be a plot-related matter than something that would have already been resolved.

Were the notable features of the Fiah and the Ith combined, in my opinion the result would not be entirely dissimilar to the Loroi. However, since they are not combined, this is more a matter of me plugging a completely different comic that I happen to like rather than illustrating some actual meaningful parallel with another work.

The Devas from 4ed DnD Player's Book 2.

Mostly blue, but can go into other cooler shades.

Air Genasi from Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 are most definitely blue people. http://dungeons.wikia.com/wiki/Genasi_(3.5e_Race)

Honourable Mention Suggestions:

The Morlocks from the Time Machine movies, both the 1950's movie and the more recent remake.

The original 50's film had blue-skinned Morlocks, whilst the modern remake had grayish skinned morlocks that tended to be lit up by bluish light here and there. The latter comes complete with castes ranging from scouts and warriors all the way up to the Uber Morlock that keeps them all in line.

I think I accidentally created an unneeded topic :P

Also, now that I think about it, are there albino Loroi?

Probably so. Word of Arioch says that there can be telepathically "deaf" Loroi, so something like albinism shouldn't be out of the ordinary.

Page 99 must be one doozy of a page, that's for sure. :P

(Edit: The Environment Design page seems to have been updated recently. Anything new added that looks like it might be plot-relevant?)

"Ensign Jardin, we--"
"BLAAAAAAARRRRGGGGHHH"
"Ensign Jardin, are you okay?"
"HOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRGGGHHHH *cough* *cough* BLAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHH"
"Damn. Beryl to medbay, the alien's puked again."

On that note, what do you guys think is going to happen? I'm personally betting on the following: Umiak try to board the Tempest in order to obtain the recovered human artifacts, Jardin does something badass yet foolhardy and is finally recognized as a warrior, Fireblade and/or Beryl are amazed and disconcerted by this "human's" combat abilities.

Zentraedi (Macross)
Tau (Warhammer 40K)
Air/Water Genasi (D&D/NWN)
“Blue” (D&D goblin variant)

Just thought up another.

The Nac Mac Feegle from Discworld. Also known as Pictsies, the Wee Free Men, the Little Men, 'Person or Persons Unknown, Believed to be Armed', 'That's him, the third one from the left!", and occasionally 'The Defendants.'

The Zora, from The Legend of Zelda.
Unggoy (Grunts) from Halo.
"Greys" from various works and Conspiracy theories as an honorable mention, as they can edge into blue.
Drazi from Babylon 5.
Salarians from Mass Effect can be blue.

I think the ladies in blue are going to try to get Jardin to teach them English, throw him a cup of Loroi coffee to snap him out of his funk and he's going to have a bad reaction to said coffee. And then he will be sick all over the floor. And the walls. The ceiling is also a distinct possibility. *face palm*

Come on. This is a space opera. It needs to have some cliches.

Although ceiling vomit sounds disturbingly intriguing.

A google search has taught me that in Marvel's Thor movie (which I have never seen), Frost Giants are blue.

But in Marvel's comics, it varies.
Also I learned that Marvel changed Laufey from Loki's otherwise undistinguished mother into a male king of all frost giants for some reason (I don't follow superhero comics).

I think Arioch might be preparing to transfer Alex to a new environment, be it a new room or an entirely new ship. Which means making new CGI sets and possibly updating the Environment Design, perhaps as a farewell to the Tempest's interior sets.

If so, this could take a while.

The blue Sea Reapers of Giants: Citizen Kabuto are militant, magical/elemental, dictatorial, regenerate while under water, serve a reigning matriarch, and, of course,
Wikipedia wrote:
Planet Moon initially conceived the Sea Reaper single-player character, Delphi, as evil but changed her to be a rebel with a conscience.[18] They also made her topless.[20]

...beautiful/alluring.

In that game there is also the titular blue giant, Kabuto.

You might also put up an honorable mention for SHODAN and Cortana, who are by various definitions not people, and are often not blue, but look close enough often enough to count.

Surely it will be Alex's battle-rap skills that save the day, rather than dance choreography.

In my headcanon, SHODAN's “skin” is black, not silver. :)

Also my conpeople, the safir, are eerily similar to the Loroi, but I didn't know of Outsider when I constructed the safir, so I belive the words “convergent” and “evolution” are in order :P
