Re: Concept Fanart of Future Terran Ship Designs
Against the Loroi and probably also the Umiak a current human warship would be destroyed long before it got within effective range of its mass drivers especially given their lack of defensive screens and very slow propulsion systems. Would they actually care? i mean other than if the ship is enteri...

Re: Concept Fanart of Future Terran Ship Designs
Given the Loroi have been at war for a long time and have a fully developed war industry churning out warships that are (thankfully) exceedingly ergonomically correct for humans. If the Human ships are inadequate to modern space warfare I suspect the humans would (like the UK in WWI&II) get a lot o...

Re: [RP] Operation: Deep Strike (OOC)
Sorry i didnt do my character, i was believing that you were still building the system. but with your last message i fell it actually done even if it still confusing, So ill ask the question here; You did add a movement skill or no? Re: [RP] Operation: Deep Strike (OOC)
Sunphoenix have a point. i think loroi would carry a melee weapon of some kind, if only to "show off" their martial capacity. "Engineering Tool Kit: [...] must have a screwdriver" what about duct tape?! It THE most important part of any repair/engineering kit Cover grenade (smoke, sensor distortion,...

Re: [RP] Operation: Deep Strike (OOC)
Maybe i skipped something but what do each basic attribute do (bonus to what?) and represent? are there other skill? what game system did you actually choose/build? are the 128 point for the skill only or do it also apply to all other category? (Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, etc) Cheese or bacon?

Re: So, hm, speech?
I don't know how much the author has thought into it, but taking the universe at face value it would also be valuable to use speech for recording purposes. It would be common during salvage/repair operations to recover whatever recording devices a ship had for postmortem analysis. I don't think tha...

Finally you can also have a resident DM or uninterested party do and post rolls so you would say like : I try to vault the table and throw Mr. X to the ground with a scissor leg throw. Someone else rolls on like random.org or something and posts 2 rolls 1 for the vault and 1 for the throw etc. -O T...

Re: Historian Wright: Space Attorney (game)
Well actually Arioch i dont consider it to really be Outsider verse.
@bunnyboy, well i tough people would be a little interested with the game. I don't mind being the GM but the important part is really the Criminal.
and we still need to draw some basic rules.

Historian Wright: Space Attorney (game)
In the year 2185, 25 year after the first contact between the loroi and the human, a neutral planet was choose to see how a cohabitation of those species would go, Unfortunately the non telepathic nature of human made it quite hard for the loroi to trust human. As a response to the increased in crim...

Re: MESSENGER
From the Wiki we discovered it in the early 1800. why isnt it studied in basic astronomy? we learn about all the other planet (i wont give a number cause they kind of changed all that 2-3 year ago so i don't know what number is true now) why not talk about this one? Which one? And they were all at ...

Re: MESSENGER
I think ill have to retake class on space body, mass isnt the "gross weight without the gravity effect? thus would include the density? Or is mass, in this case, a synonym of "planet size" Ceres isn't a moon, it's a dwarf planet, recently upgraded from "asteroid". I suspect you're thinking of Europa...

Re: Planetary Invasion/Defense
Well think what you will. your contradicting yourself in your claim, making me believe you just want to be right for the sole purpose of being right. So i wont get in your game. So for the author, All possibility exist in your universe. i gave many example of how it could be possible, just be sure t...

Re: MESSENGER
Its surface gravity is slightly higher than that of Mars, but its gravity well is smaller I thought that the surface gravity and the size of the gravity well would be related. how is that possible? Ceres really is the big prize, honestly I'm amazed by how few people even know of its existence. Even...
