Indeed. Also: this is a reminder, that with artificial gravity generators, the consoles/stations do not need to be placed all on the same side of the same plane. I'm looking forward to that athletic pilot (Talon) jumping "up" and "up" and doing somersaults when mid air so the legs always point down;...

I felt instant need for hug her. Then I remembered my " fan comic " of very likely result... Though, I wonder if human "mind invisibility" would actually make it us safe to approach her, as she would not register us as living beings/enemies. Just animated teddybear/cry blanket. Thanks for linking t...

YAY, new page!!!! And you do not want to wake her up, her reaction might be unpredictable. She is still in the "fight or flee" mode, and with her, "fight" is much more likely. She will lash out at anything that penetrates towards her attention, and may only recognize later what is happening. PTSD m...

I hope it's just exhaustion and not the result of injuries.
Damn.
(my hope is based on her not having been pulled over to the "infirmary" where Alex had been dropped.)

I am impressed.

The speed the AI'volution is going ahead is impressive.
Now, if AI would stop inventing (hallucinating) stuff, my job would be gone in three weeks.

"If I had a nickel for every time I was rescued by blue alien elf women while I was bleeding, oxygen deprived, and concussed, I'd have two nickels. Which is not a lot but it's weird that it's happened twice." Here's hoping that the Loroi have a way to reverse brain damage, otherwise Alex is going t...

19 September 2025: New page: 227. It's still technically Monday. YAY! New page! And on update time as well (Monday)! And yes, I for one presume the devices simply continue with their last command, and second, the bug has it's brain not right next to it's sensory devices. It is a bug after all. And ...

FolksWagen is how I pronounce VW. But I also don't think people can differentiate between my "Folk" / "Volk" if it weren't for the context. But then, prononciations in Germany are regionally very different... Edit to add: I got an ErrorCode 500 when posting. It did post, but my browser did not get t...

And I fell for the v/f in Dutch again. Bedankt voor de correctie! The original Frisian name is slightly differently spelled ("Flinter"), but many of the West-Lauwersche Frisians basically use Dutch spelling now (but often with an "F" (my niece's friend is "Flinder", even though she's registered at s...

The Loroi minnir device refers specifically to the myth of Skymaster and her minnir companion named "Flinder." Flinder is described as very wise in addition to being fierce, and is instrumental in uniting the fractious clans in response to a call to war against a distant power. It is under a banner...

Still, As A curious all-rounder myself, I love people who are curious beyond their specific area of competence. While it often feels as if I do not excel at anything, I am the engineer who knows enough about the neighbouring fields to make them work properly together and make them interface properly...

For it is indeed the abundant curiosity Beryl radiates. And one of my first crushes had white blonde hair. When she was 12. Since kids go less out nowadays and play less in the sun I see it a lot less here. But this whitish ash blond was somewhat common in my youth. So it never connected to "old age...

I also agree.
The full expectation was, that if ever any shot was given, it would be ship-to-ship combat, and nothing hands-on.

This is so far out of expectation and training, it's ridiculous.

They're not actually in a vacuum currently; two pages ago they noticed the compartment repressurizing right before Little Timmy right here paid them a surprise visit.

Thanks for reminding me!
It's been so long ago, I forgot about that.

Yeah, "This is on par for the Defender of the Garden" was also my first thought. But it is different if your cracked helmet is in vacuum and far away from any other visible danger, or in vacuum and under the hydraulic fist of an enemy looking at you and intend on defending its ship. I wonder how oft...

meh, this hiatus is still on its first ass cheek. The second one to sit this hiatus out is still fresh. And if necessary after the second cheek wore out, we can return to sitting on both cheeks. (And it would be healthier to go walking for a big walk, like towards Santiago de Compostella than sittin...

The last update was on April 1 — page 274 on Patreon (non-colored). No more updates after that.

That sounds promising.
It'll be annoying for patreons to wait a year or more for the B&W comics to be published in colour on the website, and them not getting updates.

Yo, guys, I'm back from the dead, almost quite literally. Seems like I wasn't missed much, and I didn't miss much of the comic as well. That... Doesn't sound well. I presume you're much better now? Welcome back! And yes, you were missed. The lack of updates on fanfics caused me to forget my passwor...

Yeah, I am hyped....
First game in years I bought for myself.
First game ever I pre-ordered during development.

I am sooooo looking forward to the whole thing ... (although I am not a fan of voice-overs - most people read too slow for my liking).
