Re: Pages 185-186: Really Weird Dreams!
The cylinder tower looks like it might have been part of a space elevator (mething to take things from ground level to an attached orbiting space station) or half of the Memphis Arch.

I'm thinking, and I don't think I am the only one to mention this when that memory first showed up, that maybe he didn't do it on purpose.

Can we see a full body image of a Golim? I read one was planned to be shown as Alexander was brought to the bridge, but it was scrapped as distracting. It doesn't seem like we'll be seeing one anytime soon. I don't have one currently. I imagine that they look something like sloths, and walk on thei...

Re: How to Make Mecha Work in a realish setting
Even if most f the takes kept to a more anthropodic design, would there be any benifit to manuverability? Armor would be another thing. Most modern tanks have their armor composition clasified for good reasons, but what is known is they have a few tried and true methods of defence. Many have multipl...

If Fireblade's memory is from the capital and not her homeworld, is Beryl snitching? Or is Jardin stealing information somehow? I don't know. There is a Trope called Crouching Moron Hidden Badass (you can find it on TV tropes, Red from Overly Sarcastic Productions did a video on it). Essentially it...

Re: How to Make Mecha Work in a realish setting
Bad for mechs and transformers that every joint is weakness in their armor, which can be cracked to open it. And also, whst prevents installing jump jets and extra limbs at top of any tank? As tank is well grounded, it can hold single handedly any weapon which can flip the mech of same size when us...

Ok, here's a vid from Professor Otaku, a big time mech fan, goes over some mech design notes. Most of it is for making them distinct, but others are just for funsies. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_0PEu_nJoo&list=WL&index=2&t=328s In case you didn't watch the video, think of why the mecha is ther...

Re: How to Make Mecha Work in a realish setting
You could have exactly the same background material in Battletech with giant tanks instead of mechs. I get that mechs are the whole point of the game, but in terms of lore the requirements for mechs over tanks is completely artificial. 3: Why not use vehicles and tanks? Well, there are vehicles in ...

Re: page 178: Beryl's time of her life
Alex is almost a foot taller than a typical Loroi male. The average height for a human female is just a touch over 5 feet; while a six foot human woman is unusual, she is hardly a grotesque freak. Some of the most successful supermodels were 6' (looking at you, Elle MacPherson). It might be sociall...

Don't poke the bear, Alex. Poking the bear has been kinda his thing with her since the start. She invaded his mind, and to prove a point slammed him into a wall with her brain. When he tried to strike up a conversation and she didn't respond, he made a bunch of insults to see if she could understan...

I don't think the cultivation of decorative pants would be unheard of to the blue space aliens, or their allies. Even the more carnivorous ones probably have a few they keep for flavoring, texture, smell, or looks. I wouldn't trust an alien species that cultivates carnivorous pants. I see Pit...
