We've been in crunch mode for Stars in Shadow which goes into Early Release on Steam on September 15. After that I want at least a couple of pages done. So I'll be available for new commissions starting in October.

A brief update:

As some of you may know, I have been spending a lot of time in the last few months working on the Steam Early Access release of the Stars in Shadow game. There's still more work to do there to get the game into final release before the targeted release date before the end of the year, but I hope to be able to spend more time on the comic in the coming weeks and months. I'm sorry for the lapse in updates.

A slight complication is the hard drive crash I had last week (right in the middle of the SIS Early Access work) which has been a serious problem of late for me. In addition to putting me a week further behind in my contract work, the hard drive was a total loss; I had most of my documents and artwork backed up, but I have to reinstall all my software, and I lost some data, including all of the fonts used in making the comic. I'm in the process of trying to re-acquire what I need to resume work, but that may take some doing, as some of these purchases were more than 10 years ago. I also have to reinstall my 3D software, which hopefully won't be problem, but it's yet to be done.

Lack of fonts isn't an adequate excuse for not working on the comic, and I'll post pages with placeholder fonts if I have to. But that's where I am at present.

Well, as long as things keep going. It's not like we're not used to things going slow around here, just as long as they are going.

Might have to repurchase the fonts, if you can't provide proof of purchase, though that would suuuuck.
