That's right, Tempo; the Mizol spy who may or may not have organized a test of sorts to the alien who may or may not be an enemy agent. The purpose of her caste is to lie at will in order to ensure no one else has to.

On the other hand Alex could may as well be sleeping for a few hours already; in the human military most guard duty shifts last about a couple of hours. With regular check ups to see if everything is ok. When I was an infantry grunt there were 3 different teams each getting to stand guard for 2 hours, then have 4 hours rest before going up again.

Very true - but he pulled (I believe) that eye injury 'memory image' while she was awake

An interesting question will be, who else is sensing this dream of the human? If it is just Fireblade, she might keep it quiet (out of respect perhaps, since the question will be does this give them an understanding between each other, or is this an unintended invasion of privacy?). But if they others can sense it....than what?

If that is supposed to be Earth he's seeing, then it makes me wonder if he's connected to some kind of human-wide jung-esque unconscious, and Earth has already been hit by the Umiak or some other power.

But my money is still on Fireblade, since the sensation he felt when approaching the light seems similar to when he noticed Fireblade's presence in the past.

The cylinder tower looks like it might have been part of a space elevator (mething to take things from ground level to an attached orbiting space station) or half of the Memphis Arch.

If i could i would put a thought bubble off Alex that say (1st bubble) "Don't sing the jingle don't...." (2nd bubble)"like a good neighbor....." (3rd bubble)"dammit dammit dammit.....now its stuck in my head".. next page, all the loroi are humming the state farm jingle but they dont know where they got it from lol.

So is Alex a receiver? Did the attempted interrogation make him more sensitive?
