Also a sense of sympathy. They are both technically outsiders.

hi hi

Fireblade has been the sole survivor multiple times herself, so that part checks out.

I think Fireblade might actually become his friend later on down the line. If she can get Beryl to move over....

I still think it will be a Loroi slumber-party. Now that I think about it, Alex should be exhausted, since we have not seen him sleep at all, nor any of the others except Beryl.

He was woken up in his cell at the beginning of Chapter 2.

True but he has been on the go for quite a while, so I suspect slumber land is where he is headed.

Looks to me only a couple hours have past since their departure of the Tempest.

@ Slumber Party Posts:
Alex Nearly Falls asleep; Beryle's snoring keeps him and another Loroi up, has to keep her from smothering the living memory bank]

Alex sleep attempt 2: Fireblade sleep tevetates a blunt, heavy object near his head.

Alex, now with a helmet on, attempts sleep a third time; Spiral tried some of his Humaniti food; he is spelling the silent but deadly after affects.

Alex Attempts to fall asleep again: Tempo snuck in a dab of chocolate. It works on her like LCD and the Pink Barsome are on parade.

Alex Attempts to fall asleep as far away from them for the final time: Cloud, the only Loroi not incapacitated after Tempo's trip snuggles in on his lap like a cat.

@ Been a couple of hours.

WHo knows how long a full scaled assault like this could last. Hours, days, weeks maybe. Add the type of fight went from skirmish to battle, who knows how long this will take before anyone, if anyone finds them. If that happens, it might turn into a siege against what's left of the space station.

Will Alex get "groomed" by Cloud, she seems to be the one that is the most reticent to deal with him, or perhaps she is so used to being the supply girl that is all she knows how to do?
