Musical Psychokinesis

Do Loroi know of the wonders of the theramin?

I mean given all their PK a single Loroi may very well play an entire band solo lol.

I could see it now... one Loroi, playing simultaneously on drums and violins or whatever.. it would have to be a mizol probably since a Teidar would just destroy the drums and crush the violin.

The theramin operates on the principle of capacitive coupling, with the player's hand acting as the dielectric.
Wikipedia wrote:The performer's hand acts as the grounded plate (the performer's body being the connection to ground) of a variable capacitor in an L-C (inductance-capacitance) circuit, which is part of the oscillator and determines its frequency.
Using PK to move a dielectric object (such as the severed head of a defeated umiak) to change the frequency would be something Fireblade could do to change the tone, but another dielectric object would be required to change the amplitude, as well.

Maybe Tempo would be a better player.

Fireblade lacks the fine control necessary for such things.

Tempo would be rather interested in a different application of this principle.

A precise enough TK should be able to just generate sound waves directly, no need for a theremin or other instruments. Maybe just a simple membrane that they can vibrate, just like how we do it except with a loroi's mind instead of an electromagnet.

Precise control would allow to play music. Power would allow to use it as a weapon, if they can go loud enough.

On the other hand a loroi musican could just to have the music in her head and then send that experience using her sanzai.

Lazy but effective.
