If CERN found the Higgs...

Post by Absalom »

... then what does it mean?

I've heard that the Standard Model doesn't work with a Higgs mass in the 116-130 GeV / 115-127 GeV range that the current results allow for (assuming that the current results actually detected Higgs bosons, of course). Is there any credence to this claim?

Oh. I heard the contrary.
But one way or another - i hope that they DON´T find such a simple "solution" to all questions.

Because i still want all SF (FTL etc) come true.
