Count me in, if anyone wants to play.

To note... much as I like the BESM game system... GURPS is also a valid game system and all the relevant books are available at 'The Trove'... and the gm does not have to make up everything from scratch as in BESM.

I've been wanting to play GURPS forfuckingever.

Not sure it switching to another ruleset is a good idea in the middle of a game.
Maybe we should just start something new?

I was not suggesting we switch, just making a point that We DON'T Have to use BESM; there are other equally useful systems. I'm the only one who has a character converted and built in both systems so indeed... maybe its not a good idea to switch in mid-game. If everyone ...Especially the GM is comfortable with BESM...so as not to confuse things we can just continue with what we have.

Well... there is bunnyboy, charlie, VonWolffe, dragoon, yuiel, sweforce...

Thats quite a lot of players MIA.
Aside from this, I have no problem with playing again. We just should find a way to handle this problem.

We can continue our story filling gaps as it follows, maybe people will join us later

Is there a possibility that I could join the game, take over an abandoned character or "pilot" a previous NPC?

I confess that it has been in excess of 10 years since I last played a tabletop RPG, but I would like to give it a shot. What mandatory prerequisites would I need, aside from re-reading the [IC] and [OOC] threads to refresh on the state of things and what my character has done or acted like in the past?

If the person playing Ruyter does not come back, I would like to join in with a character in a similar role. I think it would be hard to play Ruyter himself, but playing another IT specialist/hacker with no social skills sounds fun. Also, is there a place where I can find a copy of the sourcebooks needed to join in?
