Because there isn't thread for talking of fan arts, I open one.

Good work Koori, looks like screen capture from Outsider animated serie. Would be nice to have one someday.

I created a race for my sci fi games, which was partly inspired by the Loroi, as far as appearance goes. No ears, red blood, and they are genetically altered humans... But I liked the Blue skin, female dominated military aspect of the Loroi. They share the militant attitude, warlike culture, and telepathy, although they are more TK/ESP than telepathy..Would have no problem communicating within line of sight with loroi, but I dont think Loroi would like the fact Valkiir can finesse their mental communication enough to lie/omit key information.

(and a few other insprations) so you culd say My Valkiir are a sort of fan art

I've been roughing out a bit of fan fic for a Valkiir/Loroi meeting..but so far it's so lame i cant even read it.

How can Valkir have blue skin but not blue blood? Shouldn't their skin be purple?

Also, in that vein, I've often contemplated writing a chance encounter between the loroi and my own conspecies, the safir -- blue-skinned space elves, like the loroi (but I swear I made them up before I started reading Outsider! ), but fully psionic, as opposed to the loroi's telepathic with a smidgen of kinesis.

An engineered pigment, for better UV protection.( the star they were relocated/seeded to gives off much more UV than SOL, and has less UV protection on surface than earth.) The blush purple...if you can get one to blush.

I have to admit I had created the Valkiiir earlier, but altered them slightly after i found Outsider way back when..then promptly lost it in the shuffle.

After looking at some of the other stuff including the animation I am even more sure that I should hide my stuff

Ya know some day we ought to have a Blue Space Babe < ow..ouch that hurt..hey no fair I cant see that TK crap) ummm Blue Space Lady Convention..... Just no one tell the Andorians okay.

I don't know them all, but I do they're all from SF webcomics. The Entireprize from Zortic is at left, but I don't remember the others.

There was a whole sequence, but that's the only panel I have saved. Kris Straub stopped without finishing it (just when they started talking to Beryl aboard Tempest), and then eventually took the strip down.
