Your battleship - your rules
Re: Page 96
Unfortunately card-counting is less effective against modern casinos than one might hope, and they have developed a number of coping mechanisms as it is a form of cheating they have encountered before.Razor One wrote:No love for Beryl?
Telekinesis is the best way to break the system. Tempo's subtler telekinetics and relatively high social skills and training in planned deception make you less likely to get caught. With Fireblade I can easily see the situation escalating until the entire city lies in ruin.
Re: Page 96
No no, you were supposed to say "Screw the rules I have Psionics!"

It is a reference to a joke used in Little Karibo's Yugioh abridged series which I highly recommend checking out if you enjoy nonsensical whimsey.
You can find it here at http://www.yugiohabridged.com/
They also are in the process of making a Dragon Ball Z abridged series which can be located here at http://www.teamfourstar.com
I would rate it up there with Red vs Blue in terms of hilarity.

So can take Beryl with self just as a good companion)
Re: Page 96
Well, to say it in Lord Hechinger´s words when he repulsed Anjusha and Aisha: "Don´t lecture me about the rules. YOU proved your disregard for them the moment you stepped through that gate! ...the "rules" no longer apply here."Grayhome wrote:Wait a minute, your talking about using psionics for cheating? But that's against the rules!

Re: Page 96
bringing fireblade to the horse tracks would probably work just fine though, just annoy the horses we do not want to win, would probably create enough statistical change to earn some serious money without being to obvious.
or take one of the more subtle ones to the roulette table, but that is actually more difficult, and it could easily be proven with a video camera and a ballistic projection/comparison program....or well rather easily, humans would probably think it looks odd when something that SHOULD be ballistic is not.

All she needs is glasses.

*Following the disruption of internet, news media and ultimately the governments who enforced the laws which caused the chaos and mayhem, allowing news media and the internet to become properly established, it was of certain caution that most evidence and history was largely removed for the sake of the new alliance.
Unfortunately members of the Loroi Listel caste did actually discover some of the less offensive images, and considered it an entirely possible means to improve relations with a race made up of 50% males.
Following the deployment and use of Telepantic devices and methods, Civil war broke out on Earth and it's colonies as half of the human population demanded the death of the other half for 'looking at those skanks', while the other half of the human population acted almost as slavish and eager to serve as Golim, seeking only to please those Loroi who influenced them Telepantically.
Loroi considered this an unfortunate development and relegated the survivors of the global scale civil war to slave labour jobs as well as research and development roles where they had discovered 'humaniti' were surprisingly well suited.*
