I do like she uses the spoken language for Alex' benefit though.
Usually, when doing banter, you fall back into learned behaviours, in this case I would expect them doing this telepathically.
The "tail-wag!" comment makes me wonder if Loroi have a rudimentary tail-remnant, which they can wag if they're happy.
Then it would be a comment from Spiral about how happy she is that her colleague lost....

Playful insults could be a form of aggression and therefore fall under spoken language.
These insults also feel very harmless, very juvenile. Do you think that's Talon and Spirals age or our lack of cultural context?

I think 'Tail-Wag' is meant to refer to wiggling, yes your posterior... very likely in a sexual enticement to gain the attention of a male.
'Seed-Head' is also a {ahem} potentially sexual connotation for oral sex with a male. 'Plunger'... there are so many mentally kinky sexual connotations to that as well.
