You fool! THAT WHICH IS DEAD CAN NEVER DIE!
If nothing else works, a total pig-headed unwillingness to look facts in the face will see us through. General C.H Melchett commander of some unknown british regiment in the western front.

I keep thinking of the Eurythmics...

"I'm not trying to seduce you... would you like me to seduce you?"

The bottom of the strap looks a little too wide. Is that on purpose?

She doesn't strike me as angry, but serious. Not the laughing happy Beryl we are used to.

Don't get me the wrong way, but I keep wondering, how does she undress from this seemingly tight-but-inflexible-turtleneck-bodysuit? I cant imagine how it could open up, nor imagine that gigantic head going through the collar.

Also, the external thong looks too solid to be comfortably say upon.

Well considering that Arioch is a fan of using the GURPS system to somewhat define aspects of his universe... I'd assume the Crew suit of the Loroi is a Bioplas Reflex Armor Jumpsuit.... a memory plastic of sorts. It hardens upon impact to provide protections but is usually supple and form fitting. The get into their suits it is loose a jumpsuit that secures at their wrists ankles and neck.. and with the depression of a switch...at say the wrist or neck the suit shrinks to a formfitting closeness. Very much like the plug-suits of Evangelion.

The armor opens up at the top of the right shoulder and down the back; there's a seam at the shoulder that's not usually drawn (you can see it in both of Stillstorm's panels on page 84). The armor is pretty flexible, like thick leather.

It's not a zipper; it pops open on command. And its along the side of the round structure in the back, so it's not exactly in the back.

Hm, I assume Highland comes with multiple interior configurations?

Because that doesn't look like a VIP transport. :P

Yes, it's configurable, and for this mission the interior is very sparse.

Were you expecting a skybar and bunny stewardesses?

Perhaps Beryl, Fireblade, Tempo and Talon as bunny stewardesses for the next holiday pinup?

;)

Actually, few bunks and a lavatory. :P

BTW, helmets and hair. Does the helmet pump somekind of sealant gel there or what?

They're there, just not labeled... they won't be seen, and therefore won't be modeled. There's a "water closet" in the cockpit aft of the port pilot's seat, and any other facilities for the passengers would be in the "stores" spaces. The deck plan is a modeling guide, and not really intended for public consumption... I posted it because somebody asked to see it.

No... a skin or hair seal is good enough for temporary loss of pressure or resistance to ordinary toxins (it's good enough for terrestrial gas masks, after all). If the wearer anticipates prolonged exposure to vacuum, hopefully she'll be sensible enough to stuff her hair inside her helmet.

Heh, saw it after I posted and figured that might be it...

Some it's not a dedicated EVA helmet... Still bad shrapnel protection. :P

I assume the more nasty chemical agents haven't been used in the war?
