Is Outsider still an active project, or is it over?

I recognize I'm being a little blunt with the subject, but I feel it's a legit question. I've followed Outsider since somewhere around page 9 or 11, and it's been fun. But I couldn't drink when I first started reading it and now I'm over 30, and there hasn't been a new comic in over a year, and only 3 new pages since May of 2012.

Projects come and projects go, and things that we enjoyed doing before sometimes grow tedious or untenable as life goes on. I'll be sad if it's over, but I've had fun and appreciate everything that Arioch did. I enjoy the story and would love to know how it all plays out (even if it were just a text-based format/online novel), but if Arioch has abandoned the project and moved on with life I'd like to know that too so I'm not coming back every week seeing if there's a new update.

Anyway, Arioch, thanks for everything you've done. You gave us a lot to look at and think about and certainly more than a few good talks about how physics actually work. Hope life is being kind to you.

That said - As long as there are active users in the forums, especially Arioch who creates the comic, I can say for certain that the comic is not dead and will entertain no thoughts to the contrary.

Seren wasn't glassed; there is still life there, and live Loroi survivors were recovered. But the surface is pretty messed up.

Without attempting to start an argument, you have been saying this for nearly 2 years, during which there have been 2 pages published.

Really questions like this one answer themselves, and the best way to deal with or forestall them is to simply admit it, and to say that when or if the comic starts publishing regularly again, there will be an announcement, but until then to stop making promises or implied promises of any sort. I am all for seeing Outsider become active again, it was entertaining, I absolutely believe it can and will be again if and when it starts up again, but the plain fact is that it can't be described as active right now, because there is no activity that actually registers.

Something that isn't moving isn't active. That's just not what the word means.
