Smug indeed. I can just imagine what kind of supercilious and condescending remark she's going to make. Maybe I'm wrong, though; maybe Ashrain is a perfectly wonderful CO.

Nice, I must say your still draw amazing either way.
I also like the full pic of the characters in the WIP as you get more of the body language. too bad you can't have the full pic ( IE cutting and editing frames)

Ah I apologize, the battle just got me thinking about it is all, I figured Beryl had friends on the Winter Tide, actually page 83 seems to have answerd my question of their similarity to humans personality wise.

I have a feeling that the damage is much worse on the inside than it is on the outside, given plasma's tendency to expand. Hopefully there will still be some survivors that can be rescued before the ship needs to be scuttled. (At least thats what I am guessing will happen.)

still not sure about that, as comment here or the page 82 or 81 topics (can't remember for the life of me) we haven't seen how a lorio ships can take hits nor how their Damage control SOP's work out.

for the looks of it, Winter Tide damage is

the main hull four hits: only lost is starboard side PD lasers, maybe the port side too.

the starboard engines are out, no word on the power status (but, using the tempest systems pic both main power bus might have been hit, since the turrets are in the same position when the tide was hit repeatedly )

shields are out ( if no very low)

as for the interior damage, icekatze might be right, but I'm sure the Loroi have a compartmentalization-like system on this ships.

One way or another, I have a feeling that Winter Tide's not going to be walking away from this one. Limping, maybe.
