Panel 2 of page 146, it isn't fanservicey but it doesn't take a lot of imagination to see it as such...

Only just noticed this in the temp area. The helmet looks similar to the vacuum suit helmet, except with half the faceplate open.

When the cats are away, the mice will play? It does seem like Beryl is happy to be away from Talon and Tempo.

There certainly is, although I was more trying to bring up the apparent social dynamics among the group. Beryl doesn't seem to mind Fireblade's presence. The same could be said for Cloud and Reed, Beryl was all smiles until Tempo showed up, and she wasn't too keen on Talon either. Now that Tempo and Talon are out of the picture, she's all smiles again.

The Loroi seem to have at least a disciplined set of behaviors, even if they have no tact or restrictions on what they share telepathically. I wonder if any of them are friends or rivals when they are off duty, even without the strange alien lookalike.

"Away", on a small ship where everybody are within sanzai range and Tempo are the only one that really need to have training in keeping up mental shields, well Fireblade may have some to keep her from sharing her PTSD experiences all over. Alex see only Beryl but really ALL of them are "looking over the shoulder" of Beryl right now.

I don't really think this is how telepathy works. The insider article on telepathy suggests that unless Beryl is actively sending her thoughts, then it is unlikely that anyone except maybe Tempo is reading her thoughts, and even then, Tempo would have to concentrate on doing that. (Where as it looks like she's occupied with other things up front.)

The range for most Loroi to simply detect a passive mental signature is listed as only a few meters.
