I have to admit that I lost track when exactly you left, but at the moment, Cydonia has jumped, needs to refuel on a station there, but got attacked with ECM and a apparently captured farseer. They found out that that station was somehow captured by an Umiak scout and the others are currently making up a plan how to capture that station back.
You might just stand there with the others or come to the bridge a bit late (the good old Doc might have given you a day off or so)?

It`s not unreasonable, it`s a big ship, moreover they havn`t been given free reign on traversing the ship, they have been mainly in the guest quarters and the Mess Desk. They have also seen the inside of the hanger.

On a side note, I'll be back on the 30th.

Alright, include that with my character's necessity to always be in the Intel room (which is sensitive, so i doubt the Loroi are just allowed access there) when working, and I can safely say that he's heard of them, but hasn't seen them around as of yet.

I've spent the last day reading and catching up on this...

There were some scene shifts.

I'm not understanding who Thoughtvenom was addressing with her last post.

Basically the Human Doctor was attacked telepathically{?} 'we're still not sure', but some unknown mind that was possessing/holding onto the mind of the Loroi Captain - Copperspear, when the Doc noticed Copperspears vital signs worsening and tried to stabilize her.

As far as the Loroi now there are no other species in the local know area of space with telepathic powers similar to the Loroi so no one was sure who did this attack... as none of the Loroi onboard would so such a thing.

It was conjectured whoever it was that attacked was not a crewman of the Cydonia or the Argent Fire which meant some unknown entity. Since no aliens ships were in the system ... it was conjectured that perhaps something already in this system an unknown form of life might be responsible. The Umiak are not telepathic so even if they were int he system it was not them for certain. There were no unaccounted beings or minds onboard the ship so one of the loroi doing it was not possible. Besides the Loroi would sense such an attacker if they were on the ship.

It wasn't until direct mental contact was made with the entity that it was identified... at least conjectured at being a Loroi Farseeker telepath enslaved to the Umiak ...likely a child onboard a Umiak scout ship somewhere int he system.

The Loroi have never explored this area of space so when their captain was attacked by a telepath immediately they assume some new hostile telepathic entity .. as no loroi would do such a thing.

What was not said to the human crew is the reason why the Loroi did not find it strange that the humans in this system had never encountered this entity before now. That is because the Loroi know the humans have "Lotai" ability and can't be detected telepathically or read mentally.. a fact the Loroi DO NOT want revealed to the humans!

That clears up a lot. The constant scene shifts and long, /long/ posts with relatively many pieces of conversation and little pieces of story progression really confuse the senses.

That reminds me, would any of you be interested in a second RP with a completely different first contact storyline?
