Yup, Spiral's a farm girl from Maia. I can't remember where I saw Arioch say it, but I'm 99% sure he's said that the 'stock image' used for Maia is literally Spiral in her pre-diral youth.

So the question is, Arioch has previously described Maia as 'the California of the loroi Union,' yet it's a world covered in endless crop fields. So does Spiral have a California (Valley) girl accent, or a Nebraska/Iowa accent? Since she doesn't quite speak the language correctly, I'm leaning towards California accent.

And oh my /God/ that comic is fantastic! Not only has your drawing of Best Girl and Second Best Girl's faces markedly improved from earlier artwork, but I really like where this is going. (Not even because of the lewds; I just love Talon and Spiral as characters and want to see more of them)
